We've all heard the tale of Hansel and Gretel, and the witch with the gingerbread house. But something that is overlooked is that 'witch' seems to be a race, not just a profession. I propose that the 'witches', specifically the Gingerbread Witch....are actually trollwives using magic to appear human.
