Mine Kobolds

The kobolds of the mines are known by many names in many lands. They are sometimes called kabouters, or knockers. They differ from their aboveground kin mainly in color, being blue of skin while their cousins are more normal flesh-toned. Once, long ago, kobolds were friendly to man, but the coming of the Church of the Five Fold Sun villified them as 'demons' and drove them deeper underground. Now they hide from humans, and hurt them sometimes, taking vengeance for all the wrongs done them.
