Shen Ping was a very capable athlete throughout high school and college, competing in both gymnastics and football (soccer).After he found the Floating Scarf at a football game, where an unnamed beautiful woman left it behind, it bonded with him, granting him phenomenal powers.
He is still unsure why he was chosen to bear the Scarf, but he takes his responsibility seriously, and has trained hard in various styles of Kung Fu to be worthy of it.His day job is as a Footballer with the Shanghai Shenhua Football Club, and he does not hide his identity. In fact, as Sky Dancer, he wears his team's colors. He is extremely well known and popular in Shanghai, the city he primarily operates in.
In travel and combat, he is a flurry of acrobatic motion, swinging from the extended scarf, running on walls and clouds, and leaping vast distances. The Scarf effectively acts as a 3rd arm, one which can extend up to 500 feet, retract instantly, and grab even better than his own hands.
