Dubai Energy:

In the mid 21st century, the oil magnates of the Arab world had an epiphany, They would not be able to keep making money of off fossil fuels much longer, as the public sentiment of the world turned against it. So most of OPEC got together to pave a new way forward. In a very short time, the solar collection fields, wind turbines, and clean nuclear plants covered much of the deserts, and by 2100 Dubai Energy was the world leader in energy production. And so they remain. Though powerful, they are not very active in politics outside of the Arab world, and few know much about their board of directors, or the Al Ghurair family that owns a majority stake.
