Ogoun Heavy Industries
Ogoun Heavy Industries
Named for the orisha of Iron, Ogoun Heavy Industries is a juggernaut of manufacturing. Founded in 2030 as a nationalized merger of the most successful manufacturing companies in Nigeria, like DAG and Dangote, they also absorbed the local assets of foreign companies like Hyundai. In a very few years, they dominated the African manufacturing scene, and today, they are major players worldwide. Unrest in the 2070's caused the collapse of the Nigerian state, but Ogoun kept Lagos afloat, and is now functionally the government of the Free City. Ogoun focuses on building things like armaments and heavy equipment, but of course is just as diversified as any other megacorp. Their military arm is extremely well trained and supplied.
