Path of the God-Touched Barbarian (Tales of the Valiant/ 5e)

God-Touched Barbarians can seem mad, but they are in truth touched by higher powers. They deal radiant damage to their foes, and heal and protect their allies, laughing all the while in their ecstatic rage.

God Touched Progression

Barbarian LEVEL FEATURES

3rd Radiant Fury, Champion’s Taunt
7th Shield of the Heavens
11th Battle-Cry
15th Martyr’s Rage

Radiant Fury 3rd level God-Touched feature

While raging, at 3rd level, a God-Touched gains additional radiant damage on every attack equal to the rage damage bonus, and becomes resistant to radiant damage. In addition, they have advantage on saving throws to avoid being charmed or frightened.

Champion’s Taunt 3rd level God-Touched feature

At 3rd level, while you're raging, the first creature you hit with an attack on your turn becomes engulfed in radiance which hinders its attacks, and draws its attention to you. Until the start of your next turn, that target has disadvantage on any attack roll that isn't against you, and when the target hits a creature other than you with an attack, that creature has resistance to the damage dealt by the attack. The effect on the target ends early if your rage ends.

Shield of the Heavens 7th level God-Touched Feature

At 7th level you can extend the protection of the Heavens to others. If you are raging and another creature you can see within 30 feet of you takes damage, you can use your reaction to reduce that damage by half. If they are already resistant to the damage, they instead reduce the remainder by 2d6. When you reach certain levels in this class, you can reduce the damage by more: by 3d6 at 11th level and by 4d6 at 15th level. You may choose to use any number of your own hit die during this reaction to reduce the damage even further, by the amount rolled on your hit die.

Battle-Cry 11th level God-Touched Feature

At 11th level, your shouts inspire and uplift your allies. As a bonus action, you unleash a battle cry infused with divine energy. You and up to ten other creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you that can hear you gain advantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the start of your next turn. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a hit die to do so.

Martyr’s Rage 15th level God-Touched Feature

At 15th level, your rage makes you nigh unkillable, and you fight on, whatever the cost to yourself. While you're raging, having 0 hit points doesn't knock you unconscious. You still must make death saving throws, and you suffer the normal effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don't die until your rage ends, and you die then only if you still have 0 hit points. Additionally, while in this even more ecstatic state, you may expend your own hit die to heal companions within 60 feet, as a free action that may take place during any turn.
