The Nicor (Archipelago)

The nicor are the original inhabitants of Lantea, the xenophobic sapient beings living beneath the waves of the massive planet. They have good cause to hate the human colonists (who don’t even know they are colonists), but perhaps they take it too far, rising from the deeps to hunt and kill and raid at night and during storms. They have lost most of their ancient knowledge, but still sometimes carry strange and arcane devices.
