#MythologyMonday #MutantsAndMasterminds : Omar Khalil

Omar was a Sufi Muslim gardener from the Northern Sinai, until he was accused of witchcraft by the Islamic State for his uncanny ability with plants. He was executed, and buried. When he rose again, he fled west, eventually taking ship from Cairo to the US. He is suffering doubts about his faith, now that he knows he is the legitimate son of the ancient Egyptian God Geb. He also feels horribly out of place in the bustling, modern, secular United States. He’s trying to settle in, but is having trouble finding work…and now that his inherent powers are active, trouble seeks him out. He’d much rather just be a peaceful gardener, but Kismet has other plans.
