Iwo Iji, aka Stormsurge, is a child of two worlds. Born and raised in the undersea kingdom of Orunukun, in the Atlantic Ocean off of west coast of Africa , she was sent as an emissary to the people of Nigeria, with whom Orunukun has ancient ties. Now she fights evil above and below the waves, while serving as an example to all people of truth, justice . . . And righteous fury against those who love neither. Her Pendant gives her sovereignty over storm and sea, recalling that the waters above Orunukun are where Hurricanes are born.
